Shangde Jewelry Packaging

Inside Our Jewelry Packaging Factory

Understand how a packaging brief moves through sampling, specification approval, production and quality checkpoints.

Approved packaging sample, material references and measurement tools
Concept imageSpecification and production concept

Shangde Gift Manufacturing (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., founded in 2008, develops custom jewelry and gift packaging from a 20,000-square-meter facility. Product development, in-house mold support and specialized paint production support the route from packaging concept to approved bulk specification.

What a factory partner should make visible

Development handoff

Translate the brief and approved sample into dimensions, materials, color, logo, insert and packing requirements.

Process checkpoints

Compare critical construction, appearance and jewelry-fit details while work is in progress.

Order records

Retain clear references that support final inspection and future repeat orders.

From sample approval to a production reference

A visual sample is most useful when the specification behind it is explicit. Buyers should know the structure, outer material, color reference, branding method, insert construction, accessories and individual packing. If any of these elements changes, the effect should be reviewed before a bulk run continues.

Coordinate development before production begins

Jewelry packaging often combines several processes: structural parts, surface covering or coating, decorative branding, textile or paper inserts, metal details and final packing. The handoff between these processes is where unclear specifications create visible differences. The approved sample should therefore be supported by dimensions, material references and placement information that each production stage can follow.

When a project includes multiple box sizes, pouches, cards or bags, identify which design rules are shared and which details are product-specific. Color and logo direction may be common across the range, while internal dimensions, insert layout and packing quantities remain unique to each item.

Questions buyers should ask

What to send for a production review

Share the product range, quantity by item, jewelry dimensions, target price position, artwork, material and color direction, destination and delivery requirement. Explain which details carry the highest commercial risk so the appropriate sampling and approval route can be discussed.

Factory evaluation should be based on relevant samples, transparent assumptions and the ability to explain how a requirement will be controlled. Facility size and equipment lists provide context, but they do not replace a product-specific development and quality plan.

For international supply, confirm export packing, carton identification, document requirements and the party responsible for shipment arrangements before the production schedule is finalized.
